What we design

Six disciplines on the rule-line grid.

EduSpark is an education consultancy — not an accredited school, not a degree provider, not an essay-writing service. We deliver instructional design, curriculum architecture, assessment instruments, learning experience builds, teacher enablement and responsible-AI advisory for schools, colleges, universities, training providers, EdTech companies and corporate L&D teams across Canada. Every engagement is scoped in CAD from our Toronto studio. AI drafts; educators review. Figures below are indicative ranges, not outcome guarantees.

How we scope

Fixed projects and retainers — priced in Canadian dollars.

We work from a discovery brief: learning outcomes, audience, delivery context, existing materials, governance requirements and timeline. After that conversation, we provide a written estimate with milestones, review gates and deliverable definitions. Most single-course builds fall between C$18,000 and C$45,000 depending on depth, media production and LMS integration. Retainer arrangements for ongoing instructional design support typically start at C$6,500 per month. Advisory and workshop engagements are quoted separately.

We do not sell credentials, guarantee grades or promise admissions outcomes. We design what learners can demonstrate — with academic integrity and student privacy treated as design requirements from day one.

Discipline 01

Curriculum & Instructional Design

We map competencies, learning outcomes and assessment criteria before anyone writes a lesson. That means scope-and-sequence documents, module architecture, prerequisite logic and alignment tables that programme directors can actually audit. For K-12 boards, colleges and corporate training providers, we translate policy goals into teachable units — with UDL and accessibility requirements embedded from the first outline, not bolted on at the end. AI assists with drafting outcome language and sequencing options; subject-matter experts and educators approve every decision. Deliverables typically include curriculum maps, instructor guides, pacing calendars and governance documentation your team owns after handoff.

Indicative range: C$14,000–C$38,000 per programme module cluster · C$5,500–C$9,500 per standalone course outline package

Discipline 02

AI-Assisted Learning Content & Media

Lesson drafts, explainers, case studies, interactive scenarios and media scripts — produced with AI assistance and released only after educator review. We work in your voice, your terminology and your academic integrity standards. Content passes through a documented review loop: accuracy check, bias scan, readability assessment and alignment with stated outcomes. We produce materials for LMS delivery, instructor-led sessions, blended formats and microlearning libraries. Media production includes storyboards, narration scripts and asset specifications for your internal teams or preferred vendors. Nothing goes learner-facing without a named human approver on your side.

Indicative range: C$8,500–C$22,000 per course content package · C$3,200–C$7,800 per media module (script + production brief)

Discipline 03

Assessment Design & Learning Science

Formative checkpoints, summative instruments, rubrics, self-assessment tools and item banks — designed against observable competencies, not memorization shortcuts. We apply evidence from learning science: retrieval practice, spaced reinforcement, authentic performance tasks and constructive alignment between what you teach and what you measure. AI helps draft item variations and rubric language; psychometric review and educator sign-off remain mandatory. For regulated professions and credentialing contexts, we document item provenance, revision history and integrity safeguards. We also advise on proctoring policy, open-book design and AI-use boundaries in student work — because assessment design and academic integrity are the same conversation.

Indicative range: C$6,500–C$18,000 per assessment suite · C$4,000–C$11,000 per rubric and moderation package

Discipline 04

Learning Experience (LX) & Course Build

From brief to LMS-ready delivery: navigation architecture, activity sequencing, learner pathways, accessibility compliance and integration with your EdTech stack. We build in Canvas, Moodle, D2L Brightspace, TalentLMS and custom platforms — producing SCORM packages, H5P interactives and native module structures as your environment requires. LX design covers onboarding flows, progress indicators, feedback loops and analytics hooks so programme leads can see where learners stall. Typical timelines run 10–14 weeks for a full course with formative and summative assessment design included. We hand over source files, style guides and maintenance documentation so your team is not locked into perpetual dependency.

Indicative range: C$22,000–C$52,000 per full LX course build · C$9,500–C$16,000 per LMS migration and restructure

Discipline 05

Teacher / Trainer Enablement & AI Literacy

Your educators need to own the tools — not inherit a black box. We run facilitator guides, train-the-trainer sessions and AI literacy workshops tailored to your context: what the models can draft, where they fail, how to prompt responsibly and how to spot integrity risks in student submissions. Sessions cover practical workflows for reviewing AI-assisted content, adapting materials for diverse learners and documenting approval chains. We produce quick-reference cards, office-hour playbooks and internal policy drafts your HR and academic affairs teams can finalize. Enablement is not a one-day seminar; it is an operational layer that makes everything else we build sustainable after we leave the room.

Indicative range: C$4,500–C$12,000 per workshop series · C$3,800–C$8,200 per facilitator guide and trainer toolkit

Discipline 06

Responsible-AI in Education Advisory

Governance before deployment. We help education leaders write AI-use policies, data-handling procedures under PIPEDA, consent frameworks for minors and vendor evaluation criteria for EdTech procurement. Advisory covers bias review protocols, model-selection guidance, incident response playbooks and board-ready reporting templates. We sit with your legal, IT and academic leadership teams to translate responsible-AI principles into operational checklists — not slide decks that gather dust. When a new tool arrives in your organization, you need a decision framework: what data it touches, who approves its use in classrooms, how outputs get logged and what happens when something goes wrong. That is what this discipline delivers.

Indicative range: C$7,500–C$24,000 per governance engagement · C$2,800–C$6,500 per policy audit and recommendation report
