Cookie Policy
Effective date: 10 July 2026 · Consent stored for 6 months
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how EduSpark Inc. ("EduSpark," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on edusparkco.pro (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We align cookie practices with Canadian privacy expectations under PIPEDA, emphasizing meaningful consent for non-essential cookies.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as language preference or consent choices — and may support security and aggregated analytics. Similar technologies include local storage entries, session identifiers and pixel tags. In this policy, "cookies" refers to cookies and comparable browser storage unless stated otherwise.
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Only strictly necessary cookies run by default. Optional categories require your consent via the cookie banner or customise modal on first visit (and again after consent expires).
3.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for core Site operation and cannot be switched off through our consent tool. They may include: session management for form security; load-balancing identifiers; and storage of your cookie consent decision so we do not ask repeatedly on every page. Without them, the Site may not function correctly.
3.2 Analytics
With your consent, analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, approximate visit duration, referral sources and error rates. We use this information in aggregate to improve content and navigation. Analytics cookies do not run if you reject them or disable the category in the customise modal.
3.3 Preferences
With your consent, preference cookies remember choices that improve your experience — for example, dismissing informational notices or remembering non-sensitive display settings. They are optional and off by default until you consent.
4. Consent duration and renewal
When you accept, reject or customise cookies, we store your decision in a first-party consent record for six months from the date of your choice. After six months, the banner reappears and you may confirm or change your preferences. You may update choices at any time by clearing Site cookies in your browser and revisiting, or by contacting [email protected].
5. Vendors and third-party cookies
We aim to minimize third-party tracking. Current or anticipated vendors include:
- Hosting provider (Canada): server logs and security cookies necessary for delivery and protection of the Site. Processing occurs on Canadian infrastructure where possible.
- Analytics provider (if enabled with consent): privacy-oriented web analytics collecting aggregated visit statistics. IP addresses may be truncated or anonymized. No advertising profiles are built from Site analytics.
- Font delivery (Google Fonts): when you load pages, your browser may request font files from Google servers, which may log technical request data. This supports typography only; it is not used for Site consent-gated analytics.
We do not permit advertising or social-media tracking cookies on the Site. If vendors change, we will update this policy and, where required, refresh consent.
6. Your choices
You can:
- Click Accept all to enable necessary, analytics and preference cookies for six months
- Click Reject all to allow only strictly necessary cookies for six months
- Click Customise to toggle analytics and preferences independently
- Adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies globally (may affect Site functionality)
Browser controls vary by manufacturer. Consult your browser help documentation for instructions on blocking third-party cookies, deleting stored data and enabling Do Not Track signals. Note that blocking all cookies may prevent the consent record from saving, causing the banner to appear on each visit.
7. Relationship to personal information
Some cookie data may be considered personal information under PIPEDA when it can be linked to an identifiable individual (for example, full IP addresses in server logs). Our Privacy Policy describes retention, security and access rights. Analytics, when enabled, is configured toward aggregated reporting rather than individual profiling.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add features, change vendors or respond to legal developments. The effective date at the top will change accordingly. Material updates may trigger a new consent request at expiry or earlier if required.
